We are Geert and Marina Claassen. We bought this beautiful mansion in 2017 and run it as a B&B Hotel since July 15, 2017.
We moved here from Karlskrona (Sweden) where we lived for more than 12 years. Geert worked as a Product- & System manager at Ericsson, while Marina was a housewife for the most part. She also worked parttime as a cleaning lady and has studied to become a restaurant cook.
Our daughter Yvonne has studied at the University of Winchester (England) from September 2018. She took a BA, Bachelor of Arts, degree in "Filmstudies & Screenwriting" in 2021 and an MA. Master of Arts, in "Cultural Heritage & Resource Management" in 2022. CONGRATULATIONS! She is now staying with us for while to get some rest and decide on the next step in her career.
Originally we are from the Netherlands, but as you might have guessed, we like it here in Sweden and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Värmland county.
